Dakota Boys and Girls Ranch recently promoted Anita Burns to the Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facility (PRTF) Program Manager on its Minot campus. In her new position, Burns will oversee the PRTF cottages, ensuring that all treatment plans and programming meet the specific needs of each child, and that the Ranch is a safe place for children to live, learn, and heal.
Burns has been employed at the Fargo Residential Treatment Center since 2018. Shortly after starting at the Ranch as a Youth Care Worker, she was promoted into a Team Lead position and then became a Residential Supervisor. She has a degree in Business Administration and more than 16 years of professional experience as a business consultant, giving her a broad understanding of quality management and leadership responsibilities.
Burns’ ability to demonstrate her passion for the kids, as well as role model trauma-informed care and Ranch values every day, makes her an excellent fit for this new role.
