Dakota Boys and Girls Ranch, Minot, ND, was the recipient of a $3,000 grant from Faith Community Lutheran Church in Longmont, CO. The funds received will be used as part of an overall transformation and update of the Kruse Memorial Chapel on our Minot, ND campus. Specifically, funds will be used to purchase new audio equipment for the chapel.
One major way we help our clients find success and healing is through our Spiritual Life Program. Many of the children who come to the Ranch have not attended church or have had the Church misrepresented in harmful ways to them in the past. At the Ranch, children begin to see the person of Jesus and the Christian faith differently as they experience the chapel’s weekly services.
Deaconess Kelly Bristow has significantly increased the use of music during worship on our Minot campus and now we need to update the equipment to strengthen and grow the program more. The upgrade to our chapel audio system by funds supplied by Faith Community Lutheran Church will enhance our kids' worship experiences.
