Dakota Boys and Girls Ranch, Fargo, received a $6,000 grant from the Hector Foundation to purchase snow removal equipment.
Safety is a core tenet at the Ranch. As a 24/7 facility, it’s imperative that we have functional equipment, and that kids and staff can safely access parking lots and sidewalks. Grant funds from the Hector Foundation will ensure the Ranch can provide a safe environment for kids and staff all year long, but especially during the winter months.
Dakota Boys and Girls Ranch is a Christ-centered residential treatment and educational center for children and their families. We help the most troubled, complex, and amazing kids by providing best-in-class psychiatric therapy and trauma-informed care, where we look kids in the eye, walk with them, and help them become their best selves.
The Hector Foundation focuses on bringing people together in the community to work at improving the lives of those in need within the Fargo-Moorhead region. Their mission is to continue the Hector family legacy of giving by helping local nonprofits enhance the lives of ordinary, everyday people in need, including military veterans, youth, the disabled, and others less fortunate in the greater Fargo-Moorhead area.
