Dakota Boys and Girls Ranch recently promoted Rachael Kary and Stacey Swigart at its Fargo Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facility (PRTF).
Kary, who has been at the Ranch for nearly six years, accepted the Director of Residential Services position. In her new role, she will oversee the Residential Treatment Services on the Fargo campus and collaborate with the treatment team to ensure quality, trauma-informed, youth-guided, and family-driven treatment interventions.
Kary previously served the Ranch in many roles including as an intern, residential treatment specialist, team lead, residential supervisor, and case manager.
“I’m excited to continue working alongside the Fargo team to provide the best services and supports for our kids and families,” Kary said. “I will always enjoy watching our kids become the best versions of themselves. I’m also excited to bring my experience on the direct care side into the leadership level.”
Swigart, who has worked at the Ranch for 16 years, accepted the Program Manager position. In her new role, Swigart will ensure that all treatment plans and programming meet the specific needs of each child, and that the Ranch is a safe place for children to live, learn, and heal. Swigart currently serves as a Residential Supervisor.
“I love working at the Ranch because of the amazing residents we care for. Getting to know them is the best part of working here,” Swigart said. “I also find our team inspiring. They come every day and put their energy and positivity into working at what can be a stressful job.”
