Dorene Allis has been a Registered Occupational Therapist for 27 years and specializes in mental health. She is an Alumni of Quinnipiac University - Hamden, CT, where she earned her Advanced Baccalaureate Certificate in Occupational Therapy. In her new role, Allis incorporates faith into her work with children and individualizes treatment plans based on each child's specific needs. She collaborates with kids, their families, and Ranch staff to set children up for future success. Allis enjoys seeing kids experience "Eureka!" moments as they assimilate their sensory-modulation, motor, social-emotional, and cognitive skills.

Matthew Baumgartner received his Master of Science in Clinical Counseling from the University of Jamestown. As a therapist, Baumgartner provides individual, group, and family therapy for Ranch residents. Having previously worked in the Criminal Justice System, Matthew decided he would rather be on the front end, working with youth and their families to prevent juvenile justice involvement. He brings passion to his work at the Ranch as he recognizes that access to mental health and addiction treatment has a positive impact on youth, their families, and the community.
