How to Donate
Donation Hours
Monday-Saturday, 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. and Sunday, Noon – 4 p.m.
Donations are accepted until the store’s donation area is full.
Bismarck is closed for donations on Wednesdays and Sundays.
Donation Guidelines
We want to make donating as easy as possible while ensuring the items we receive are safe, useful, and ready for our stores. Below is a detailed guide to what we accept, might accept, and cannot take.
Items We Accept (In Good Condition)
- Clothing – please separate from other miscellaneous good
- Furniture
- Linens
- Small working appliances
- Working flat-screen TVs
- Household miscellaneous items
- Jewelry
- Shoes
- Decorations & wall décor
- Seasonal items
- Books, records, DVDs
- Sporting goods
- Toys
- Rugs
- Tools
Items We Might Accept (If New or “Like New”)
- Microwaves
- Air conditioners
- Dehumidifiers
- Sinks
- Ping pong tables / pool tables
- Exercise equipment
Items We Do Not Accept
- Firearms
- Hazardous materials – oil, gasoline, paint, stain, varnish, toxic chemicals
- Tires, batteries, large appliances
- Pianos, organs
- Beds – water beds, sleeper sofas, hide-a-beds, mattresses, box springs
- Box entertainment centers that can’t hold a 32”+ flat-screen TV
- Any TV that is not flat-screen
- Computer equipment – printers, faxes
- Furniture that is broken, missing parts, ripped, or stained
- Metal desks, exercise equipment, ping pong/pool tables, air conditioners, toilets/bathtubs/sinks, windows/doors, headboards/footboards
- Any items not structurally sound or unsafe
Donation Tips
- Closed bags and boxes (less than 50 pounds)
- Donate items in good or excellent condition.
- Please donate during donation hours only.
