The BNSF Railway Foundation awarded $6,000 to Dakota Boys and Girls Ranch for technology upgrades in the Career and Technical Education (CTE) classes at Dakota Memorial School, Minot, the Ranch’s on-campus school.
Instruction at Dakota Memorial School (DMS) is focused on meeting the unique social, psychiatric, and behavioral needs of students. DMS offers on-campus CTE classes where children learn real-world skills like carpentry, finance and accounting, welding, design, and more. Funds from the BNSF Railway Foundation will be used to purchase new computers and software and will allow the Ranch to continue providing high-quality CTE classes for its students.
Dakota Boys and Girls Ranch is a Christ-centered residential treatment and educational center for children.
