Each child that arrives at the Ranch is stepping into the best opportunity in their young lives for a chance at a better life and future. Many of the children who come to the Ranch have been abused and traumatized. They need our help. Your faithfulness to these kids gives them the opportunity for healing and hope.
The best way for you to understand the impact you make is to hear stories about our kids. This story came to me in an email from Brooke Thomas, On-Boarding Supervisor on our Bismarck campus.
“Hello, I just wanted to share that we had a past resident, Jade*, visit us on the Western Plains Campus. Jade discharged from Western Plains in March 2020 when he turned 18. He just celebrated his 20th birthday. Jade said he initially struggled after discharge while being a part of the PATH independent living program in Bismarck. But, he was able to figure out what he needed to do to be an independent, successful adult. Jade now resides in Dickinson where he works part-time at Walmart in the electronics section. Jade said that between his two stays he spent a total of 17 months at the Ranch, and that the Ranch made a big impact on his life."

I’ve heard it said that at the end of our lives we think less about the stuff we’ve accumulated and more about how we’ve made a difference in the lives of others—how we’ve made the world a better place.
That is what you do every day—make the world a better place by making a difference in the lives of the kids we are blessed to serve.
Thank you for your prayers and support. God bless you!
Blessings,
Tim Unsinn
