I sat in my office the day after Easter and reflected on the quietness of the moment. Usually, the hall outside my office is anything but quiet, as students head towards music class or stop to visit with our principal whose office is just across from mine.
I thought about all the boys and girls who have walked down that hall. All the stuff each child carries with them—trauma, heartbreak, and thoughts of not being loved. That is a lot for a child to carry.
Thankfully, our lives do not have to be defined by our past. When they arrive at the Ranch, our kids can begin a new chapter in their life story.
As I was thinking about our amazing kids, I thought about all the time and resources that go into helping them find success. They are loved, nurtured, and cared for with the best-in-class psychiatric and trauma-informed care; and a Spiritual Life Program that pours God's love into them.
Thanks to your support, we help these kids write a new chapter in their lives, one filled with hope and healing.
Thank you and God bless you!

P.S. We are now traveling and visiting with our amazing Ranch friends. If you are ready for a visit, please let me know and we can schedule a time to connect. It feels great to be talking about getting together in person. It has been too long!
